Jackie is a play, parenting, family and couple therapist with 20 years experience supporting children and families with their emotional wellbeing and relationships. Jackie previously worked as a Clinical Specialist in NHS early years CAMHS and adoption agencies, and currently works as a Clinical Tutor on a postgraduate training in psychological therapies for infants and early childhood at the Anna Freud Centre. Jackie specialises in therapy with families who have babies, toddlers, and children up to primary school age. Jackie integrates play, parenting and family therapy to support parents and couples with the transition to parenthood and to empower parents to support children with issues, including early feeding, sleeping, toileting issues, separation anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, adjustments to life events, including parental separation, illness and bereavement. Jackie has a passion for adapting evidence-based treatments to meet the unique needs of individual families. She has experience working with neurodivergent children and parents, working with sole parents, blended families, intercultural and same sex couples. Jackie sees parents and children together and works exclusively with parents and couples when it is considered helpful. At the Family Treatment Service Jackie provides play, parenting and family therapy and sees children and parents together. Her treatment is aimed at supporting parenting for children that present with emotional and behavioural difficulties. She accepts referrals for Children up to age 9.
