The Family Treatment Service was set up in 2021 during the COVID pandemic, when demand for mental health services was at an all time high. As a private not for profit practice,  our goal is to re-invest surplus funds into the sector, supporting access to mental health services for all. We also hope to relieve some of the burden on the NHS by providing treatment options for those that are able to pay for it.

“We believe mental health care should be personalised,  compassionate, and evidence-based. As a not for profit private practice, working towards meaningful change with our clients underpins all our decisions. Our surplus funds will be reinvested into the sector – supporting access to mental health services for all.”

Our values.

  • Ethical

We are proud to be clinically, not commercially driven - meaning our advice always puts our clients’ best interests at heart.

We aim to make decisions ethically in everything we do,  from solar panelled roofs and sending zero waste to landfill to ensuring our cleaners are paid the London living wage, and sourcing high quality supplies thoughtfully.

  • Expert

We employ highly qualified clinicians with years of experience, with a focus on exceptional quality and compassionate, evidence-based treatment our clients can trust. As an ethical employer, clinician well-being is also incredibly important to us.

  • Personalised

Our personalised approach ensures bespoke care plans are created to meet your individual needs. Our multi-disciplinary team offers access to diagnosis, assessments, treatments and prescribing under one service, enabling us to personalise your care.

Staff Testimonial

“I would highly recommend the service, especially for people starting in private practice, the environment maintains the highest ethical standards”

Our approach to fees and pricing

We endeavour to keep our costs lower than others providing care at the same level; full transparency of all our fees can be found HERE.

Whilst our not for profit ethos drives our decisions including pricing, we also pride ourselves on being a fair and compassionate employer, ensuring our highly qualified clinicians are paid fairly and appropriately.

The Family Treatment Service is proud to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), demonstrating its commitment to providing safe, effective, accountable, and high-quality care.
